Job Description (Key Duties)

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate early childhood lessons
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
• Monitor and record learner progress and development
• Maintain effective classroom management
• Communicate regularly with parents and school management
• Uphold child safeguarding and school policies

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Education (ECE/Primary)
• 1–5 years’ experience in an international school environment
• Strong classroom management and child-centered teaching skills

2.   GRADE 1-2 TEACHER (1 POSITION FOR EACH GRADE)

Job Description

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Support early literacy and numeracy development
• Assess, record, and report learner progress
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment
• Participate in school activities and professional development

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Education
• 3–5 years’ teaching experience, preferably primary teaching and international set up.
• Strong lesson planning and assessment skills

3.   GRADE 3-4 TEACHER (1 POSITION FOR EACH GRADE)

Job Description

• Prepare and deliver effective daily lessons
• Support learner academic and social development
• Maintain accurate assessment and progress records
• Engage parents through feedback and meetings
• Uphold school discipline and safeguarding standards
• Teach and assess learners in preparation for transition grades
• Maintain high academic and behavioral standards
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and reports
• Support learner wellbeing and discipline
• Participate in curriculum planning

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Education
• 3–5 years’ experience in primary teaching
• Experience in an international school is an added advantage

4.   GRADE 5-6 TEACHER (1 POSITION FOR EACH GRADE)

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons
• Assess learner performance and implement support strategies
• Maintain an inclusive and orderly classroom
• Participate in school improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
• Deliver engaging and structured lessons
• Monitor academic performance and learner behavior
• Prepare learners for upper primary expectations
• Maintain accurate academic records
• Support school policies and professional standards

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Education
• 3–5 years’ teaching experience preferably upper primary in an international school set up.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

5.   GRADE 7-8 TEACHER (1 POSITION FOR EACH GRADE)

• Deliver quality teaching in upper primary subjects
• Prepare assessments and learner progress reports
• Support learner transition and academic growth
• Maintain discipline and positive learning culture
• Participate in staff meetings and school events
• Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons effectively
• Prepare learners for upper-level academic demands
• Assess, evaluate, and report learner performance
• Maintain discipline and learner engagement
• Communicate with parents and school leadership

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Education
• 1–5 years’ experience.
• Experience in an international school curriculum is an advantage

6.   ASSISTANT TEACHERS (4 POSITIONS)

Job Description

• Support teachers during lessons and activities
• Assist learners individually or in small groups
• Help maintain classroom discipline and order
• Prepare teaching materials and resources
• Supervise learners during breaks and activities

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Education
• 1–5 years’ experience as an Assistant Teacher
• Experience in an international school is an advantage
