Job Advertisement: Academic Positions in Nursing
Location: Rockview University, Ndola Campus
Application Deadline: 20th November, 2025
Rockview University is inviting applications from qualified, motivated, and passionate individuals to join the Nursing Department at our Ndola Campus in the following roles:
🩺 1. Nurse Lecturer
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate nursing courses and skills-based modules
- Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and academic planning
- Supervise student research and clinical placements
- Engage in academic advising and mentorship activities
- Participate in departmental meetings and university programs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)
- Fully registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) with a valid 2025 practicing licence
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in a Level 1 or higher hospital
- Experience must be supported by a traceable employment record
- Teaching experience is an added advantage
🩺 2. Clinical Instructor
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assess students during clinical placements
- Facilitate clinical demonstrations and practical sessions
- Guide students in developing clinical and professional competencies
- Liaise with health facilities to coordinate training schedules
- Contribute to academic planning and quality assurance processes
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Nursing
- Not less than two (2) years of traceable clinical experience in a higher-level hospital
- Clinical experience must be supported by a reference signed by the Senior Human Resource Officer (SHR), Director of Health, or Senior Medical Superintendent (SMS)
- Fully registered with the NMCZ with a valid 2025 practicing licence
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc) is an added advantage
