We specialize in AI-driven software engineering, cloud infrastructure, data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation solutions designed to power Africa’s industrial, agricultural, healthcare, and enterprise sectors.

With several operational products, prototypes, and digital platforms already developed, Enax is now entering a commercial growth phase — expanding its footprint across Zambia and the African continent.

We are looking for visionary, business-minded professionals to join our Founding Board of Directors. These are leadership roles for individuals ready to contribute ideas, partnerships, strategy, and business development to help launch and scale Enax from the ground up.

WE ARE Recruiting for Founding Director Positions

1. Director of Business Development & Partnerships

Key Role:
You will be the driving force behind Enax’s growth and revenue strategy — responsible for building long-term partnerships, generating business opportunities, and connecting Enax with clients, investors, and strategic allies.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute Enax’s business development strategy and revenue roadmap.
Identify, pursue, and close new contracts in mining, agriculture, healthcare, and government sectors.
Establish partnerships with public and private organizations to expand service offerings.
Lead client engagement from prospecting to contract signing.
Represent Enax in industry forums, exhibitions, and investor meetings.
Support fundraising initiatives and investor relations.

Ideal Candidate:
A strategic thinker with a strong business network, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of B2B sales, partnerships, or contract management in technology-driven industries.

2. Director of Marketing & Communications

Key Role:
You will shape how the world sees Enax — developing our brand identity, managing our communications, and leading digital marketing efforts to build a strong and trusted presence in Zambia and across Africa.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a marketing and brand strategy for Enax Technology.
Manage social media, public relations, and content creation to grow brand awareness.
Design and execute campaigns promoting Enax’s software products and digital services.
Collaborate with the technical team to translate technical capabilities into marketable products.
Oversee the creation of promotional materials, case studies, and success stories.
Maintain positive relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:
A creative, media-savvy communicator experienced in marketing, digital storytelling, or brand management. Knowledge of tech industry marketing or startup branding is a strong plus.

3. Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Key Role:
You will ensure Enax’s operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our mission. The COO oversees project execution, resource allocation, and day-to-day operations, turning ideas into organized, measurable results.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement operational processes and internal policies.
Supervise project management, timelines, and deliverables.
Coordinate between technical, financial, and business departments.
Identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost reduction.
Ensure company compliance with operational and safety standards.
Build and lead a high-performance operations team as the company grows.

Ideal Candidate:
A structured and analytical leader with proven experience in operations, project management, or business administration — ideally in the technology, engineering, or startup sectors.

4. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Role:
You will be responsible for Enax’s financial planning, investment strategy, and overall fiscal health. The CFO will help shape the company’s economic vision and secure the funding needed to drive expansion.

Responsibilities:
Develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and tax compliance (ZRA and PACRA).
Lead fundraising, grant applications, and investor relations.
Analyze financial performance and provide data-driven recommendations to the board.
Establish transparent reporting and internal audit systems.
Guide decisions on pricing, cost management, and profitability optimization.

Ideal Candidate:
A finance professional with experience in corporate finance, accounting, or investment management. Prior experience with startups, SMEs, or scaling organizations is highly valued.

5. Director of Strategy & Innovation

Key Role:
You will lead Enax’s research and innovation roadmap — helping identify new technologies, products, and business opportunities that position the company as a thought leader in African tech.

Responsibilities:
Research emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Cloud, Blockchain) for integration into Enax’s offerings.
Identify new markets and strategic opportunities for expansion.
Support the product team in developing prototypes and innovation pipelines.
Monitor competitors, global trends, and technology shifts.
Work with the CTO and other directors to align innovation with business goals.
Develop proposals for pilot projects, R&D partnerships, and government innovation grants.

Ideal Candidate:
An innovative strategist or technologist passionate about digital transformation and startup growth. Backgrounds in R&D, technology consulting, or innovation management are preferred.
