Job Description
A reputable construction company in mazabuka, is seeking for a qualified candidate to fill up the position of office administration manager.
The OFFICE ADMINISTRATION MANAGER will be responsible for accurately preparing and reporting financial statements and reports, including income statements, financial position and cash flow statements and support financial decision-making to monitor and analyze actual performance, timely submission of tender documents, filling of project files and all administration matters relating the company.
Duties and responsibilities
Preparing financial statements (e.g., income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Reconciling bank statements and other accounts.
Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Tax Compliance:
Preparing and submitting tax returns (e.g., VAT, PAYE).
Calculating and remitting estimated tax payments.
Providing advice to management on tax matters.
Ensuring compliance with Zambian tax laws and regulations.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Analyzing financial data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
Preparing reports and presentations for management.
Supporting financial decision-making.
Other Responsibilities:
Managing accounts payable and receivable.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Managing the company’s asset register.
Supporting audits.
Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.
Managing the administration of the tender process from the beginning to the end.
Managing the company tender processing portals such as the EGP portal and scan market
Preparation of the budgets and presentation of the same as requested.
Ensure accurate filling systems for all transactions and projects.

Ability to utilize computerized solutions to a high degree (i.e. Proficiency in Accounting packages, spreadsheets and MS applications)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in accounting, finance in busy and multicultural business and industrial environment.
Professional accounting and finance qualifications such as ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA.
Must be a paid-up member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
