Job Description
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC), a statutory body established under the Zambia Law Development Commission Act, Chapter 32 of the Laws of Zambia, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following vacant positions arising from the approved revised organisational structure.
HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (ZLDC/4)
Report to
Manager, Human Resource and Administration
Job Purpose
To supervise and undertake the provision of human resource, administrative, and logistical support services in order to facilitate efficient and effective operations of the Commission.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct human resources management functions to enhance staff morale and optimize utilization of human resources.
- Conduct human resources planning and forecasting to maintain an optimum number of staff.
- Conduct human resource development functions to facilitate staff development and enhance staff performance.
- Provide administrative and logistical support services to facilitate efficient and effective operations.
- Undertakes development, implementation, and review of human resources and administrative policies to provide an operating framework.
- Implements performance management systems to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance in the Department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.
- 2 years post-qualification experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a formal supervisory role, with demonstrated success in managing team performance, workflows, and operational delivery.
