National Breweries PLC is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Auto Electrician.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance on company vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

POSITION : AUTO ELECTRICIAN

CONTRACT : PERMANENT
LOCATION : NDOLA

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Maintenance & Repairs

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles and units
• Carry out planned maintenance and major overhauls to required standards
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimise downtime
• Ensure all work meets quality and company standards

2. Workshop Operations

• Follow workshop procedures, SOPs, and maintenance programs
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, work orders, and requisitions
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to trainees and apprentices

3. Safety, Health & Environment

• Comply with SHE standards, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements
• Promote safe working practices and proper use of PPE
• Participate in incident investigations and risk assessments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment

4. Performance & Quality

• Ensure high-quality workmanship on all repairs
• Complete tasks efficiently and cost-effectively
• Support efforts to reduce fleet breakdowns and improve vehicle availability

Minimum Requirements

• Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) O’ Levels including English, Mathematics, and Science
• Valid EIZ Membership
• Valid Class C Driver’s License
• At least 2 years’ relevant work experience
