About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Electrician to join our mining workshop team on the Copperbelt. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining auto electrical systems to ensure maximum vehicle reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine auto electrical maintenance (e.g. aligning headlights, topping up battery electrolyte, and component adjustments)
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on various heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
• Perform periodic inspections and electrical tests to detect early faults
• Replace damaged or worn electrical parts
• Ensure all work is done in accordance with HSEQ standards and safety procedures
• Actively participate in hazard identification in the workshop environment

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role
• Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• A positive “can-do” attitude and team spirit
