HYDRATEK is looking for a driven Technical Business Development Executive to develop business within Zambia’s mining and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit mines and industrial customers to identify new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with maintenance, engineering, reliability and procurement teams.
• Generate RFQs and follow opportunities through to successful orders.
• Promote our hydraulic cylinder repairs, machining, chrome plating, fabrication and engineering services.
• Develop new customers and grow existing accounts.

Requirements

• Technical/Engineering qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in mining, heavy equipment, hydraulics, engineering or technical sales.
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Sandvik, Epiroc or similar equipment is an advantage.
• Existing exposure or relationships within Zambia’s mining sector will be a strong advantage.
• Must be self-driven, confident with customers and willing to travel regularly to mine sites.
• Valid driver’s licence.
