Job Description
To be responsible to the Operations Director for the availability all farm equipment engaged in the operation of a modern dairy enterprise with modern cropping capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Agricultural Machinery Master Craftsperson/Mechanic with strong computer skills including those associated with satellite guidance of large agricultural equipment. Training of personnel will be an important and mandatory aspect of the role.
DESCRIPTION:
- Specialist in the repair and maintenance of modern farm equipment comprising mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and computerised components, including Smart Farming GPS Guidance Systems.
- Practical knowledge on the operation of sophisticated machinery and interest in the training of personnel, both in workshop and operationally.
- Fleet management, maintenance plans, stock control and seasonal operational co-ordination.
JOB LOCATION: Chingola, Zambia.
