Job Role: Trainee Manager / Store Manager
Responsibilities
To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service.
Trainee Manager:
-
- Staff supervision: Assist in monitoring staff performance and discipline.
- Customer engagement: Support customer service initiatives and resolve minor complaints.
- Sales reporting: Prepare daily/weekly sales reports under guidance.
- Inventory checks: Conduct stock counts and assist in replenishment.
- Store presentation: Ensure shelves are neat, clean, and well stocked.
- Learning management skills: Shadow the Store Manager to gain leadership experience.
Store Manager:
- Strategic planning: Develop and implement sales and growth strategies.
- Financial management: Oversee budgets, cash flow, and expense control.
- Performance evaluation: Conduct staff appraisals and set performance targets.
- Compliance enforcement: Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and safety standards.
- Supplier coordination: Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Marketing initiatives: Drive promotions, advertising, and community engagement.
- Problem resolution: Handle escalated customer complaints and operational challenges.
- Leadership development: Mentor Trainee Managers and prepare them for future roles.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma / Degree in Business, Retail, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in fruit and veg production.
- Basic knowledge in retail industry.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
- Candidate should be medically fit.

- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stay calm and focused.
- Inter-personal skills.
- Supervisory skills – ability to train employees to use time efficiently and to be uncompromising regarding service delivery.
Physical Exam Required
Medical Report & Police Clearance.
