Job Description


The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:

  • Ensures Operational Level Agreement/ Service Level Agreement adherence by managed service partners;
  • Ensures that operational delivery targets of the Mobile Money technology stack are met;
  • Ensures availability and reliability of systems;
  • Supports delivery of Projects and Demands as needed;
  • Interfaces between Business and Vendor Support teams;
  • Interfaces with Group Technology teams;
  • Interfaces with External Partners;
  • Develops, deploys and evolves solutions that fall outside the scope of Managed Service Partners.

Candidate Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in application support, application development, system administration or BI/Data mining roles;
  • Demonstratable SQL & NoSQL database power user skills;
  • Demonstratable coding skills;
  • Demonstratable Linux/Unix power user skills;
  • Working knowledge of software/enterprise architecture;
  • Certification in Technology Service Management (e.g. ITIL, CoBIT etc)
