JOB OPPORTUNITIES 2026 – 2027
The Italian School of Lusaka is expanding, and with growth comes opportunities. We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified, passionate, and experienced teachers to join our dynamic team in both the Primary and Secondary sections for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Appointees will report to the Deputy Heads (Secondary and Primary) and contribute directly to all areas of teaching. The Italian School is an international school offering a comprehensive Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) programme from Nursery up to A-Level.

- A-Level Economics / Business Studies Teacher – 1 Full-Time
- Geography / Global Perspectives Teacher – 1 Full-Time
- English / History Teacher – 1 Full-Time
- Economics / Statistics Teacher – 1 Full-Time
- English / History Teacher – 1 Part-Time
- Swimming Coach – 1 Full-Time
- ICT Technician – 1 Full-Time
- Early Years Lead Teacher – 2 Full-Time
- Grade 1 Lead Teacher – 1 Part-Time
- Grade 1 Assistant Teacher – 1 Part-Time
Main Purpose of the Job
To implement and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students, support a designated curriculum area as needed, and facilitate a learning experience that encourages students to achieve their potential.
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in the subject area
- Any other relevant qualifications
- ZAQA clearance
- Current TCZ practicing license
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching the required subject area
- Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the subject area curriculum and related pedagogy
- Experience working with/teaching diverse groups/diverse students
- Evidence of continuous Professional Development
- Experience teaching the Cambridge A-Level programme is highly recommended
