Great North Road Academy Group is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, hardworking and motivated individuals to fill the following positions:

1. TEACHER – CIVIC EDUCATION & HISTORY

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Civic Education and History lessons.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Assess learners and maintain accurate academic records.
• Participate in co-curricular activities and school programmes.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Diploma or Degree in Education with relevant subject specialisation.
• Teaching Council of Zambia registration/licence.
• Atleast 2 years teaching experience will be an added advantage.

2. UPPER PRIMARY TEACHER

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and assess learners at Upper Primary level.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work and teaching resources.
• Monitor learner progress and provide appropriate support.
• Maintain accurate learner records.
• Participate in school activities and parent engagement programmes.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Diploma or Degree in Primary Education or equivalent.
• Teaching Council of Zambia registration/licence.
• Atleast 2 years experience teaching Upper Primary learners will be an added advantage.

3. TEACHER AIDE

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Certificate in Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education or a related field will be an advantage.
• Previous experience working with children will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, patience and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in classroom activities and learner supervision.
• Assist learners who require additional academic or practical support.
• Help prepare teaching and learning materials.
• Support classroom organisation and cleanliness.
• Monitor learners during activities, breaks and transitions.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the teacher or school management.

4. HOUSEKEEPER

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of assigned rooms and facilities.
• Clean, arrange and maintain guest/household areas to required standards.
• Manage cleaning materials and report shortages or damages.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain professional and respectful conduct at all times.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of cleanliness, honesty and attention to detail.

5. KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs with food preparation and kitchen duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
• Wash utensils and keep work areas organised.
• Assist with receiving, storing and handling food supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Previous kitchen experience will be an advantage.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and for extended periods.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

6. LIFEGUARDS

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor swimming pool areas and ensure the safety of swimmers.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate first aid.
• Enforce swimming pool safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct routine safety checks of the pool area.
• Report accidents, hazards and incidents immediately.
• Maintain constant vigilance while on duty.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid lifeguard certification/training.
• First Aid/CPR certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong swimming ability.
• Alert, responsible and physically fit.
• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.

7. CHEFS

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present meals according to required standards.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
• Plan and organise daily food preparation.
• Monitor food stock and minimise wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Follow food safety and health regulations.
• Work effectively with kitchen assistants and other kitchen staff.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Professional culinary qualification.
• Previous experience working as a Chef.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage kitchen operations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
