Amplitude Trust School is seeking passionate and experienced personnel to join our dynamic team and manage the following positions: Headteacher/School Manager, Early Childhood and Primary School Teachers, Management Assistants/Cleaners, and Security Guards.

1. Headteacher / School Manager

Requirements

• Minimum of a diploma in education; a degree will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years work experience as a School Manager/Headteacher
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
• Must possess leadership and innovative skills
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership – Interpret the school vision/direction for implementation
• Operational management – Oversee daily school operations
• Curriculum development – Ensure high quality teaching and learning
• Staff management – Lead and develop staff
• Learner’s welfare – Ensure learners’ well-being and safety
• Parent and community engagement – Build relationships with parents and the community

2. Teachers (Early Childhood & Primary)

Requirements

• Minimum of a diploma in either early childhood or primary education
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
• Must have patience and empathy – ability to connect with learners
• Must possess excellent communication skills – verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive learning environment
• Deliver lessons and support learners
• Monitor learners and provide feedback
• Stay updated with best teaching practices
• Engage with parents and guardians

3. Management Assistants / Cleaners

Requirements

• Minimum of a Grade 12 certificate
• Attention to detail
• Punctual and dependable

Responsibilities

• Cleaning – Dust, mop, vacuum and disinfect surfaces
• Waste management – Empty trash and recycling bins
• Reporting – Report maintenance issues or concerns
• Teamwork – Collaborate with colleagues to maintain cleanliness
• Classroom management – Help teachers with learners’ welfare

4. Security Guard

Requirements

• Minimum of a Grade 12 certificate
• Attention to detail
• Punctual and dependable
• Physically fit – Ability to stand for long periods and respond to situations
• Communication skills – Clear verbal communication
• Alertness – Ability to stay vigilant

Responsibilities

• Patrolling – Monitor premises and detect potential security risks
• Incident response – Respond to security breaches
• Document incidences and security issues
