  • Accountable for the planning and coordination of all inventory receiving activities.
  • Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match purchase order criteria.
  • Comparing purchase orders with supplier invoices and packaging lists
  • Unloading, sorting, counting, receiving into Warehouse Management System
  • Assists with inventory control by performing regular cycle counts
  • Maintaining records of orders and receiving details
  • Performs all necessary transactions in the ERP for materials being received or returned to the warehouse.
  • Ensures products are properly labeled per procedure

  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • A certificate/ Diploma in Business management, Purchasing and supply, Stores management or any related field is an added advantage
  • Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations

Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
Strong analytical skills.
