Sous Chef
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Head Chef of our coffee shop, you are the driving force behind our culinary identity, responsible for curating an exceptional menu that complements our coffee offerings. Your primary focus is to lead the kitchen team, overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations. You’ll bring innovation and creativity to the table, crafting unique and enticing dishes while maintaining consistency and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
College certificate / diploma in Hotel Management or related culinary qualification
At least 3 years of industry and culinary management experience
Full grade twelve school certificate

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Excellent knowledge of quality food operations.
Passion for leadership and teamwork
Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
physically fit person who is able to stand long hours and work extra hours when there is pressure Very organized and structured
good team work and responsibility
focused and self-motivated
work under pressure
A creative chef with attention to food presentation
Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal as well as written)
