Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Zambia

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to oversee and manage on-site engineering activities for one of our projects in North West and Copperbelt Provinces, Zambia.

This is a 12-month contract position, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent coordination skills among stakeholders. This position comes with an attractive package offering decent site accommodation, transport and meals, with a flexible rest and recuperation (R and R).

Key Responsibilities

• Contract management.

• Client liaison.

• Contractor liaison.

• Following Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) plan.

• Managing assistant site engineers.

• Project Management.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering is required.

• Must be a fully registered and paid-up member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

• At least 10 years of experience in site works covering, tailings facilities, earthworks, liner and landfill designs.

• Experience in Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) processes.

• Must have Global Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM) knowledge.

• Must have supervisory experience.

• Excellent skills in technical report writing.

• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Project.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

• Valid driver’s License and experience in driving in various road conditions.
