Job Description
The role is responsible for the strategic leadership and technical execution of highly complex procurement, logistics, and supply chain functions within a regulated, asset-intensive operating environment.
Key Technical Scope
- End-to-end management of international procurement portfolios covering CAPEX, OEM-managed spares, long-lead-time materials, and specialised industrial equipment.
- Oversight of cross-border logistics, including Incoterms® 2020, customs valuation, bonded warehousing, duty optimisation, and multi-modal freight planning.
- Development of advanced sourcing strategies, supplier risk models, contract governance frameworks, and performance-based SLAs.
- Integration of procurement and logistics functions with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA or equivalent), including MRP, inventory optimisation, and spend analytics.
- Leadership of complex contract negotiations and compliance with statutory, governance, and audit requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement or Commerce.
- Full professional certification (MCIPS Level 6 / CSCP / CPSM – mandatory).
- Minimum 12–15 years’ senior-level experience in complex, international, and project-driven supply chains.
- Proven expertise in international trade regulations, procurement law, and high-value commercial contracts.
- Prior experience in remote or infrastructure-constrained operations is essential.
