Acacia School is a high-quality pre and primary school in Livingstone, Zambia. We facilitate the education of children from Playgroup to Grade 7 by offering both the Cambridge and the Zambian curriculum. The programs inspire learning through skills acquisition and encouraging students to uncover new abilities for a global world.We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following post for January 2024:

Secretary/ Administration Assistant

We seek an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Secretary/Administration Assistant to take up this exciting role effective January 2024. Preferred candidates must be reflective, passionate and highly creative with experience of successful secretarial and or office administrative work.

Qualifications Required

  • At least 2 years Secretarial/Administration Assistant experience
  • Minimum Certificate in Secretarial studies or any related work experience
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or Social Science will be an added advantage

Key Skills/attributes

The successful candidate will possess the following key skills:

  • Positive, friendly personality with the ability to make people feel welcome
  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and a willingness to learn further applications
  • Fast learner with ability to adjust to a school environment
  • Highly efficient and extremely organised
  • Proactive, ability to multi-task, meeting deadlines and using own initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication is essential.
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
