Job Role: Sales Floor Assistant

Responsibilities:

To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service.

• • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and helping customers find products
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
  • Restock shelves, display, and inventory as needed
  • Support sales goals and promotions
  • Work with a team to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Check for and remove expired or damaged items from shelves
  • Selecting and placing goods on shelves, checking for stock levels and ensuring products are neat and tidy
  • Must be able to replenish stock outs and proper stock handling
  • Receive and store goods in the required area
  • Prepare, prepack and merchandise stock
  • Must be familiar with FIFO
  • Ensure that the damages and expiry procedures are adequately followed

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food handlers’ certification & food production certification
• 1–2 yrs of experience in merchandising products
• Basic knowledge in sales floor/shelf packer
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
• Candidate should be medically fit

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stay calm and focused
• Interpersonal skills
• Supervisory skills – ability to train employees to use time efficiently and to be uncompromising regarding service delivery

Physical Exam Required: Medical Report & Police Clearance
