We are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:

POSITION: SAFETY HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT INTERN

LOCATION: LUSAKA

CONTRACT: SIX MONTHS INTERSHIP  

Reporting to the SHE Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

• Assisting in managing site maintenance contractors
• Assisting in managing site contractors, licenses and Permits
• Assisting in managing site access control
• Assisting with Implementation of the occupational health, safety and environmental legislation in the work place
• Apply occupational health, safety and environmental principles
• Assist with Health, Safety and Environment with Audit Scores (NOSA, KORE and Legal Compliance)
• Assist with Building/Site Maintenance response time.
• Assist with General site maintenance.

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Occupation Health and Safety/Environmental Management
• Good leadership potential and Analytical problem solver
• Self-starter and able to communicate effectively in the workplace.
