Job Description


Wah Kong Enterprises Limited is one of the leading Construction Company in Zambia. We seek to recruit a Project Assistant to Join our Team in Manyinga/Kabompo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to review blueprints and other Project plans
  • Able to interpret structural and architectural drawings
  • Contribute to the development of Project plans, schedules and budget in collaboration with the Project Manager and RDA.
  • Able to address and resolve technical issues that may arise during construction
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of project activities including daily reports, weekly progress updates and any changes or deviations
  • Able to understand the Road Standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety and other statutory requirements are met
  • Maintain a good relationship with all the Stakeholders including the local Government, RDA and the site employees through constant communication and updates.
  • Facilitate all communications including promptly responding to emails among team members, subcontractors and stakeholders and provide updates on the Project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Represent the Company at project related meetings as requested
  • Able to read and interpret all the Project contracts.
  • Able to meet deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2 years experience and at least one year on site on a major construction project
  • Member of EIZ
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Must possess Project Management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ready and willing to relocate to the Project site in Manyinga/Kabompo
