PROCUREMENT OFFICER – MASTER PORK (X1)

Key responsibilities and duties:

• Buying of pigs and factory raw materials
• Entering all slaughter weights in the production system (observe)
• Ensuring that all settlements are signed off and payments processed
• Making sure that all Goods Received Vouchers/ Goods Received Notes are  signed off by and filed properly for future reference
• Conducting Bi-weekly stock take at the Abattoir
• Inspecting of pigs when delivered by suppliers
• Liaising with suppliers on pricing and bookings

Qualifications:

• Full grade 12 certificate
• Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent.
• Member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), ZIPS
• Proven experience in a purchasing management role, preferably in an FMCG
• Knowledge and technical understanding of Cold Chain Supply Business
• Computer literate, especially with Excel skills
