Job Description


POSITION: PASTRY CHEF

REPORT TO: FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER

A pastry chef in charge of a takeaway creating pastries for desserts, snacks and other baked goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Operate and manage the takeaway section of the kitchen, working together the chefs
  • Prepares variety of baked goods especially making of samosas, shawarma and pizza
  • Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful manner
  • Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
  • Meet with customers to discuss orders or baked gods for special occasions
  • Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
  • Develop new seasonal recipes and Menus and keep up with the latest trends

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

  • More than 3 years experience in the similar role
  • Self starter
  • Trade test certificate/ diploma from the recognized institution or community colleges
