Goldenlay Agri. Ltd is the largest producer, supplier, and distributor of table eggs across Zambia, and boasting a brand familiar to retailers and consumers alike. Goldenlay is looking for 2 suitable Mechanical Fitters to join our poultry maintenance team. Tasked with preventative maintenance, installations, commissioning, overhauls & attend to breakdowns of all poultry related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all poultry equipment including collection and feeding systems, conveyers, and Augers.
• Carry out preventative equipment maintenance according to schedule.
• Replace, construct, assemble and fit components such as bearings, pulleys, chains, as well as machinery installation.
• Attend to breakdowns, overhauling and commissioning.
• Leave the workplace neat and tidy.

Requirements:

• Craft Trade Certificate for Mechanical Fitter or Similar
• Have minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Ability to work independently and produce quality work with attention to detail.
• Have quality communication skills.
• Put time if a breakdown occurs.
• Must be able to work night shift from time to time.
