Job Description:

As a Management Trainee at Minachi Lodge, you will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to expose you to various facets of hotel management. This hands-on experience will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submission of monthly financial and operational reports
• Rotate through different departments to gain a holistic understanding of hotel operations.
• Assist in the day-to-day management of various functions, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.
• Learn and apply standard operating procedures to ensure seamless and high-quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and developmental activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• University or college graduate, preferably in Hospitality, Travel, Hotel Management, or Business Management.
• No prior experience required – this is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates eager to learn and grow.
• Good computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lodge Management Trainee at Minachi Exclusive Lodge located in Lusaka. The Lodge Management Trainee will be responsible for learning the various duties and tasks associated with the lodge management, including but not limited to guest relations, operations, sales and marketing, and accounting. The Lodge Management Trainee will work under a mentor and will assist in the day-to-day management of the lodge.
