Job Purpose

Ensures that ICT systems are designed/acquired and implemented to meet the Company’s specific needs.
Troubleshoots hardware and software problems.
Prepares and implements preventive maintenance schedule for all ICT hardware and software.
Ensures the routine maintenance of hardware, software, and resources, and repair of all faulty ICT equipment is done.
Monitors and maintains proper inventory of hardware and software licenses.
Devises and documents new or revised procedures relating to security control of all ICT environments, systems, products, or services.
Research and analyses on matters that will add value to all areas of ICT systems.
Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly backups of all critical systems are run and tested on a regular basis.
Monitors and maintains the computer systems and networks of the Company.
Installs and configures computer hardware, software, and systems.
Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 School Certificate.
Minimum of a Diploma or professional qualification in ICT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant fields.
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
Must be a member of a professional body.
