HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (HRM)
We are looking to appoint an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. To us, an HRM is the go-to person for all employee-related matters. The HRM duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment and selection, employee relations, talent- and performance management, reward, HR systems, reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Manage payrolls and statutory remissions
- Draft and Manage employee contracts
- Help settle work disputes in an amicable way.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as HR Officer/Manager
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Should be residing on the Western Side of Lusaka town in Areas like Kanyama, Garden house, Lusaka West or anywhere along Mumbwa Road
Qualifications:
1. Full Grade 12 School Certificate
2. At least a Certificate or Diploma in Human Resource
3. Experience in designing and implementing Human Resource procedures and policies
4. Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management
5. Must have traceable and reputable work records
6. Should be highly computer literate
7. Willingness to learn
8. Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
9. Highly focused, result-driven, and must have a strong sense of integrity
