HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ASSISTANT

Location: Along Ndola Road, Near Kakolo, Kitwe, Zambia

SOONJUST Logistics Zambia Limited is inviting applications from qualified, professional, and highly motivated individuals for the position of Human Resources (HR) Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Maintain employee records and HR databases.
• Monitor attendance, leave, and staff welfare matters.
• Assist in payroll administration and HR reporting.
• Support the implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate training and employee development activities.
• Perform general HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate with good results.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must be a graduate from one of Zambia’s leading universities, preferably:
  • The University of Zambia (UNZA)
  • Copperbelt University (CBU)
  • Mulungushi University (MU)
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
