Job Description


Unifi is a fast-growing finance and technology company operating in Zambia, Uganda and South Africa. Unifi delivers personal lending products through online, mobile phone and branch channels. The company is well supported by strong shareholders and a board of directors with vast experience in entrepreneurship and lending.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties;
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives;
  • Compile and update employee records (soft copies);
    Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc);
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes;
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations;
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc);
  • Communicate with public services when necessary;
  • Effectively  handle complaints, disciplinary and grievance procedures;
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews;
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees;
  • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database;
  • Manage and maintain employee contracts and records;]
  • Track staff on probation and ensure closure.

Qualifications

  • A full grade twelve certificate is a must;
  • Must have a Minimum  Diploma in Human Resource Management;
  • Must be a paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZHRIM);
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
  • Knowledgeable with google workspace;
  • Ability to Multi – task.
