AGL Zambia Limited is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources team at our Lusaka Head Office as Human Resource Administration Officer

How You Will Impact AGL Zambia Ltd.

Under the general supervision of the Senior Human Resource Officer, the Human Resource Administration Officer will be responsible for processing the function of AGL Zambia compensation rewards and benefits and will have the following functions and responsibilities.

  • General Monthly payroll processing.
  • Processing of monthly statutory payments
  • Month end recons of general ledgers / journals.
  • Budgeting – Work on and update the ICHOR HR staff forecast and budget.
  • Management of staff accounts.
  • Processing of pensions contributions (new entries / withdrawals)
  • Administer the Employee Self Service module of ESS for all leave requests.
  • Take up HR duties in terms of recruitment, HR administration, employee relations, longs service awards managements, contract drafting, preparation of staff letters, managing transfers and promotions, TalentSoft management & People review coordination.
  • Implementation of HR policies such as the management of allowances, JD formulation etc

What You Need to Succeed

  • Min 3 years’ work experience in HR & /Finance.
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration or any related field.
  • A qualification in an Accountancy programme is an added advantage.
  • Paid up member of ZIHRM.
  • Ability to engage with employees.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
  • Analytical in order to work with staff costs.
