ABOUT ORBS

If you are detail-oriented, knowledgeable in HR best practices, and ready to make a meaningful impact, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Client & Compliance Management

  • Ensure clients remain compliant with all relevant regulatory bodies and statutory requirements
  • Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients and handle official correspondence
  • Stay current with evolving HR legislation and best practices

Payroll & Records

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing and fulfil all statutory obligations
  • Maintain accurate and secure HR records in both physical and electronic formats

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting through to offer
  • Draft and verify employment contracts and related onboarding documentation
  • Facilitate smooth employee onboarding and induction experiences

HR Advisory & Policy

  • Draft, review, and implement HR policies and procedures for clients
  • Chair disciplinary hearings and produce accurate hearing minutes
  • Respond to client HR queries promptly and professionally
  • Sensitise employees to workplace processes, policies, and expectations

Team Support

  • Provide operational support to Senior Associates
  • Assist with training and development activities as required
  • Collaborate across business divisions to deliver seamless client service

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in HR administration and payroll processing
  • Advanced working knowledge of Zambian employment law and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Current membership of ZIHRM
