JOB VACANCY: FINANCE OFFICER

Position Summary
Nash Import & Export Ltd is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Finance Officer to support the company’s financial management, reporting, and compliance functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Process payments, receipts, invoices, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor budgets and track expenditure against approved budgets
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies
- Support audits and provide required financial documentation
- Manage payroll processing and statutory deductions (PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA, etc.)
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents
- Support cash flow management and forecasting
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional qualification (ZICA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills
