Field Supervisor at Good Nature Agro

Location: Kalumbila (North-Western), Kasenengwa (Eastern), Northern Province, Zambia
Contract Type: One-year renewable

About the Role

As a Field Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations in legume production, focusing on crops like beans, groundnuts, and soybeans. You will manage and support Extension Officers and work closely with smallholder farmers to ensure high-quality production, efficient operations, and strong farmer relationships. Your leadership will help drive farmer success and ensure production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Extension Officers and field staff

• Oversee and coordinate production activities with smallholder farmers

• Monitor and evaluate field operations to ensure quality and efficiency

• Provide training and mentorship to Extension Officers and smallholder farmers

• Report on field activities, challenges, and outcomes to management

• Ensure adherence to agricultural best practices and company standards

Qualifications

• Diploma in Agriculture or related field

• Experience in legume production and smallholder farmer engagement

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to work in rural settings with limited infrastructure

• Motorbike riding skills are an advantage
