Job Description
EXCAVATOR OPERATORS X 4
Position Description
This position reports to the Area Supervisors. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-start checks and refuel equipment.
- Operate excavators for material loading and site leveling.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area, including loading bays.
- Complete checklists and report defects promptly.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols, use PPE, and report hazards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid Excavator Operator License/Certification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in mining.
- Valid Silicosis Certificate (for mine sites).
- Strong knowledge of safe working procedures (SWPs) and mining operations.
- Physically fit and able to work shifts.
