Job Description


We are looking for entrepreneurship trainers. The incumbent(s) shall be responsible to train women, youth and other groups in market oriented technical, entrepreneurial and managerial skills, confidence building and skills necessary to enhance their potentials and sustainable earning. He/she would be responsible to develop learners through entrepreneurship presentations and handouts.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

-Proven tracking record of delivering trainings particularly Enterprise Development Trainings and/or experience of working with NGOs/Training.

-Design, plan and upgrade entrepreneurship and enterprise development training materials including, but not limited to how to start and run a small business.

-Assist and mentor students in areas including development of business plans regarding the SME industry, problem solving, generation of workflow concepts, market planning and risk analysis.

-Deliver basic business entrepreneurship training by following the Training Schedule with quality standards.

-Conduct pre and post assessments and drawing an analysis.

-Identify gaps and take lead in designing and delivery of business development services for small scale entrepreneurs.

-Engage trainees actively in the training through multiple innovative training methodologies to maximize training outputs.

-Identify related business opportunities in target areas and provide beneficiaries with guidance on the choice of start-up businesses.

-Develop and share detailed session plans.

-Mentor students as they enter the field of entrepreneurship.

-Maintain and submit accurate and up-to-date management records of all students’ and program progress.

-Prepare and share the details of required training resource materials at least a week prior to the training

-Apply variety of training delivery techniques and strategies to train the trainees with respect to the required competencies.

-Develop training reports with support of Training Officer to cover each & every segment of trainings.

-Manage trainees’ performance evaluation (formative & summative) and submit reports both hard & soft copies within one week of evaluation.

-Demonstrate excellence in pedagogy, strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Update trainee’s data as per the requirements of our company.

-Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

-Minimum Bachelor Degree qualification in business-related studies

-Good level of computer program (MS. Word & Excel).

-Teaching experience or certification will be an added advantage

Experience:

-Minimum of three years field and technical experience with entrepreneurship training, business -development (special focus on micro-businesses is an asset), youth development;

-Experience working with marginalized people/women/youth training and/or mentorship programs preferred.
