ELECTRICAL TRAINEE TECHNICIANS (30 POSITIONS)
Location: Kaoma, Nkeyema & Luampa Districts

About Ecovolt Innovations
Ecovolt Innovations is a Zambian clean energy company deploying IoT-enabled solar mini-grids to power rural manufacturing, irrigation, and productive-use enterprises. We are expanding our operations in Western Province and seeking motivated Electrical Trainees to join our technical workforce development programme.
Training Programme Overview (3 Months Intensive)
Successful candidates will undergo structured hands-on technical training covering:
1. Electronic Product Design, Development & Manufacturing
- Basic electronics principles
- Soldering techniques
- Circuit simulation & circuit design
- Schematic capture
- PCB design fundamentals
- Product design thinking process
- Electronics assembly & repair
- Datasheet interpretation
2. IoT & Electronics Programming
- Embedded systems programming
- Coding fundamentals
- Networking basics
- Cloud computing fundamentals
- IoT systems architecture
- Remote monitoring systems
Post-Training Opportunity
Upon successful completion, trainees will be recruited as Technicians with Ecovolt Innovations to:
- Undertake maintenance and repairs for solar mini-grids
- Service solar-powered water systems
- Support IoT monitoring installations
- Provide technical support to rural energy clients
Deployment will be in Kaoma, Nkeyema, or Luampa Districts.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Power Electrical Engineering (Minimum Qualification)
- Fluent in Lozi (Mandatory)
- Willingness to be stationed in rural Western Province
- Strong interest in renewable energy and IoT technologies
- Basic computer literacy
- High integrity and willingness to learn
Preferred Attributes
- Practical experience with solar systems or mini-grids
- Basic programming knowledge
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in field conditions
