Under the immediate supervision of the Preschool Coordinator, early years teachers develop the social and communication skills of children and provide a safe and secure environment in which the child can learn. They build and maintain relationships with parents/guardians to further support children. Record observations and summarize the children’s achievements. Focus on optimum child development and preparation for a successful transition to preschool education.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 20 years old and above
• Must be a Christian with at least 3 years testimony of Christian faith
• Qualification Early Childhood Education.
• At least two years of teaching experience.
• Ability to relate positively to young children, parents and staff.
• Fluent in English, both reading and writing
• Demonstrate success in working as a member of a team.
• Demonstrate an ability to work successfully with community-based agencies and build partnerships.
• Demonstrated supervision skills
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) the training and experience necessary to develop consistent, stable, and supportive relationships with very young children.
