Job description:

Overall Job Purpose

• To daily record KTDC and IMPALA bank, cash and invoice transactions. To ensure reconciliation of IMPALA revenues and accounts as well as adequate filing of all financial documents.

Specific Job Responsibility

Cash and Bank

• Record/Post bank transactions
• Record/Post cash transactions
• Record/Post petty cash petty cash transactions

Accounts Receivable

• Raise and issue IMPALA customer invoices
• Record/Post and report on cash receipts
• Perform IMPALA customer account reconciliations
• Ensure timely third-party Investor properties invoice distribution

Reporting

• Report accurately on cash balances
• Perform IMPALA revenue reconciliations

General

• Filing
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Specific Competencies

• Very good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience in accounting or audit will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of Zambian Tax Legislation.

Experience required to perform in this job

• A minimum of 2-year relevant experience in the field.
• Exposure to an ERP environment will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
• Finance Diploma or Accounting, ZiCA Level II, ACCA Level II,CIMA Level II
• Experience in the real estate, construction, property development, property management is desirable.
• All qualifications must be certified by ZAQA
