Job Description
1. Job Title: Chinese Translator
Responsibilities
- Translating documents to industry- specific Terminologies
- Ability to convert written materials into Chinese and English language
- Excellent translation, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
- Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
Requirements and skills
- Good Time Management skills
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English
- Degree in Social Sciences will be an added advantage
- Grade 12 Certificate, or its equivalent, with a Merit or better in English
- Computer Literate and proficient in Using MS Office
