Lushomo Trust-Grace Centre is currently looking for qualified persons to urgently fill the positions of the CHEF and ASSISTANT CHEF in its restaurant, which is one of its income-generating projects.

ORGANISATIONAL PROFILE

PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHMENT

Lushomo Trust-Grace Centre is a community-based project located in Kazungula District along Mambova Road.

The Centre is a TEVETA-accredited institution offering free skills training programs and also supports vulnerable girls with education sponsorship in primary and secondary schools. It also has income-generating projects such as Tailoring, Business Centre, Poultry, Conference facility and the restaurant where the two vacancies need to be filled.

1. CHEF

QUALIFICATION

1. Diploma or equivalent in Food production, Home economics, or any other relevant qualification.
2. Photocopy of National Registration Card.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
4. Good command of English, written and spoken.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Able to introduce new menus.

2. ASSISTANT CHEF

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum of a Certificate in Food Production, Home Economics or any other relevant qualification.
2. Photocopy of National Registration Card.
3. Minimum of 1-year work experience in a related field.
4. Able to introduce new menus.
5. Good command in English, both written and spoken
6. Strong communication skills.
