VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Allterrain Services Group-Zambia, Africa’s leading facilities service provider is looking for dynamic and self-motivated individual with proven performance to fill the existing vacant position at our Kalumbila project in Zambia as listed below;

CAMP MANAGER x1

PURPOSE: Your Primary duty is to assist the Project Manager and to ensure that ATS provides a good product and service to its clients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Must have a minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality or Business administration with 5 years’ work experience

  • Creative visionary and able to be innovative
  • Creative, self-motivated, proactive and confident
  • Experience working with a diverse team
  • Knowledge computer skills, using office software such as Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Trust worth and Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Camp Manager will be responsible and accountable to the Project Manager. This includes but is not limited to the following areas:

  • The Camp Manager will assist the Project Manger to oversee the projects performance to the scope of work as defined with client. Upon arrival at the unit this will be set and agreed in writing with the Camp Manager.
  • You will be responsible for accommodation and Food Services Management within the project
  • You will be responsible for the Bar and Restaurant
  • You will be responsible for cleaning services in the offices, public areas, accommodation units & in any other place that ATS is contracted to work in
  • You will be responsible for special Party Catering & any other outside catering functions that ATS might be called upon to do.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the assets of the company and safeguarded at all times.
  • You will be responsible for Project stock control. You will be responsible to perform spot checks on stocks & keep records for accuracy. You must be responsible to ensure completion of all month end procedures to ensure all figures are accurate.
  • Ensure all paper work is complete and accurate, i.e. issues, orders, transfers, etc.
  • You will ensure that this camp/project conforms to ATS and Clients Health and Safety and Environmental Polices. This includes ensuring that ATS camp/Project completes all the relevant Project Paper work, auditing and employee training as per our Company Polices.
  • The camp manager must take part in the weekly audits to ensure that all HSE regulations are adhered.
  • Any repairs required need to be reported to maintenance and followed up to ensure they are completed.
  • You will ensure that up to date HSE records are kept at all times.
  • The camp manager must ensure toolbox meetings and start up meetings are performed where the HSE topic of the day is discussed, or ensure supervisors do it.
  • Update the HSE notice with relevant topics.
  • Ensure staffs wear the correct PPE & uniform.
  • You will assist with Human Resource Management within the Project.
  • As the Camp Manager, you will be representing ATS as you go about your duties.
  • You will be required to maintain good public relations with the clients, client employee, client families, local community, authorities or anyone you come into contact with as a result of carrying out ATS business. ATS maintains good relations with its employees and you will be expected to do the same with your subordinate staff
