Location: Solwezi, North-Western Region

About the Role: As our Business Development Officer, you will spearhead our regional growth initiatives, focusing on enhancing our market presence and driving revenue growth. Successful candidates will directly contribute to expanding our customer base, fostering lasting relationships with key business partners, and effectively managing our regional marketing efforts. This role is integral to our strategic expansion and plays a pivotal role in shaping our market strategy in the North-Western Region.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute robust sales strategies tailored to regional needs to enhance Bencon’s market penetration and customer acquisition.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Financial Management: Oversee budgetary allocations for marketing and sales activities, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum return on investment.
Performance Reporting: Generate and present detailed reports on regional sales performance, market dynamics, and potential growth opportunities to senior management.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies and initiatives with overall business goals.
Qualifications:

Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience in business development or sales, particularly within the pension or insurance sector.
Certifications: Professional certifications related to sales, marketing, or business development are a plus.

This involves not only meeting or exceeding set sales targets but also enhancing client satisfaction and engagement through innovative strategies and exceptional service delivery.
