Job Description


Principal Accountabilities

  • Focus on unit sales in the area and developing existing sales staff across all areas to achieve monthly budgeted targets
  • Receive customer pricing enquiries on all products sold by company and issue quotations
  • Analyse current procedures and activities to identify and present opportunities for improvement of the branch.
  • Ensure that the branch is adequately staffed to achieve objectives, and that technicians/sales staff/parts staff are aware of procedures for using products and equipment.
  • Facilitate the orientation of new team members in collaboration with the Supervisors by familiarizing them with work surroundings, procedures, use of equipment and job expectations and ensure that new team members understand their respective duties.
  • Build good relationships with customers.
  • Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment, and other materials in the service workshop.
  • Monitor workflow in the workshop and field assignments.
  • Implement SHE standards in the Branch.
  • Ensure monthly budgets are reviewed and targets achieved as set out in the budget for all departments
  • Manage, together with the HR Manager all staff related matters.
  • Manage, together with the finance Manager all new budgets, monthly performance figures.
  • Design and cost irrigation projects
  • Finding contracting, irrigation and Solar installation business
  • Day to day running of the branch
