Job Description
ActionAid Zambia (AAZ) is part of the ActionAid Global (AAG) Federation, sharing common values and aims to drive social change towards a just, equitable and sustainable world. AAZ works with the marginalized, excluded women and young people, their organizations, and social movements to address the structural causes of social injustice, gender inequality and poverty.
MEMBERSHIP TO THE ACTIONAID ZAMBIA BOARD
ActionAid Zambia (AAZ) is looking for suitable individuals to be members of The Board. The Board has the responsibility of providing the strategic direction to enable AAZ achieve its objectives.
We are particularly seeking individuals with expertise in Governance, Finance (with membership to Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants – ZICA), Law (with membership to Law Association of Zambia – LAZ), as well as experience in fundraising, policy development and other relevant areas.
The Board is responsible for the day-to-day governance of the organisation and it has the following sub committees:
(a) Governance and Board Development
(b) Finance, Audit and Risk
(c) Fundraising and Programs
