AUTO ELECTRICIAN (1)

Requirements

1.      Grade 12 or GCE qualification

2.      Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical

3.      Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia

4.      3 years’ work experience in similar position

5.      Computer literate and familiar with Auto diagnostic systems

6.      Must be a Lusaka resident

7.      Must have a valid driver’s license

Duties and responsibilities

Reporting directly to your superiors, your duties will include but not limited to;

1.       Able to read, understand and interpret all electrical schematic drawings

2.       Diagnose, service and repair all electrical faults on vehicles

3.       Attend to problems on instrument panels such as speedometers, fuel and oil gauges

4.       Repair or replace faulty ignition, electrical wiring, fuses, lamps and switches.

5.       Oversee and supervise workshop staff

6.       Troubleshoot routine Electrical issues that occur on the site.

7.       Promptly attend to and resolve motor vehicle break downs

8.       Ensure that job cards are maintained and properly filled

9.       Ensuring that safety rules are followed on the site at all times

10.    Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary.

11.    Regularly reporting work status to supervisors and any challenges arising

12.    Any other duties as may be assigned by superiors
