Job Description:

To carry out surveying and mapping various aspects of the mine, ensuring accurate and precise measurements for planning, development, and safety purposes.

Duties:

• Conduct daily pit surveys for accurate monthly volume calculation.
• Stake out development designs in a timely manner.
• Stake out all Production Designs in a timely manner.
• Carry out stockpile survey.
• Updating Temporal benchmarks on mining levels and dump sites.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining survey equipment, ensuring their proper functionality.
• Help in implementing safety procedures and regulations related to surveying activities.
• Any other task as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Must have at least 2 years mine/land surveying experience.
•  Proficiency in surveying instruments and software such as total stations, GPS, and GIS.
• Exposure to mine software including Surpac will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and adapt to changing conditions
