About the role:

Chemsol Scientific Limited is  seeking to hire an Assistant Commercial Manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our sales team. The commercial manager will be managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. The commercial manager will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of the sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing organizational sales by developing a commercial business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Achieving committed sales goals whilst remaining in the operational budget.
  • Preparing annual sales and marketing strategies based on the allocated annual budget.
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Execute efficient sales demand forecasting in collaboration with the supply chain team.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
  • Developing your sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education and sales related skills training.
  • Promoting the organization and products.
  • Understand the organisation’s ideal customer segments and how they relate to our products.
  • To put in place appropriate customer feedback mechanisms and follow-up with appropriate stakeholders for redress where necessary.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop market competitive pricing to attract more clients.
  • Ensure stakeholder management between the customer and the supply chain team to fulfil order requirements in a timely manner.
  • Perform competitor analysis and identify market trends for growth opportunities and new product lineups.
  • Prepare and schedule new/old customer visits and meetings to build loyalty and increase sales.
  • Establish independent identity for different brands and promote them according to the company’s policy.

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Experience managing and directing a sales team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Ability to lead a sales team.

Compensation:

The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
