JUNIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR AND COST ACCOUNTANT – REF NO. 050826 – 1

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from a recognized university.
• Current registration with ZICA
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of IFRS, ZICA Code of Professional Conduct, and Zambian Corporate tax principles

Location:
Lusaka, Zambia

Requirements/Instructions:

• Draft audit work papers ensuring documentation is sufficient to support conclusions and meets local auditing standards.
• Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and risks; assist in drafting practical recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in evaluating company compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements (including ZRA tax compliance, NAPSA, and NHIMA).
• Help track and follow up on open audit findings to ensure timely remediation by departmental heads.
