EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Zambia National Building Society seeks to externally recruit a qualified, skilled, motivated, and energetic individual to fill the Network Engineer position under the ICT Directorate.
NETWORK ENGINEER
Grade: ZNBS 6
Job Purpose
To manage ZNBS computer network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members.
- Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant Technologies, industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyse performance information for audit and maintenance purposes so that network services and peripherals are efficiently and cost effectively provided.
- Provide day to day support of the business systems to ensure effective IT Security on Networks.
- Establish a sound IT Network Infrastructure management approach.
- Build resilience in the Network.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade Twelve (12) certificate.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Certification in CCNA, A+, Network+, Network Certified, MCSA, TOGAF, ITILv4, COBIT 5 or Security+.
- Three (3) years’ relevant work experience.
- ICTAZ Membership.
